Apart from attending the event, the Germans with foreign roots can also perform on stage. The leader of this project had invited our school to the event” Café International”. 4 pupils with artistic talents and the lust of performing began practicing for their stage once a month, from October to February. All the attendees sang a song to start the night. Then our fellow student, Elisa Sun, spiced up the stage with a Chinese song and performed the Beijing Opera. Following Elisa´s performance is Helena´s dance act with 4 foreigners and Johann`s portrayal of a classical music piece. Hereinafter sang Jerry “I love you 3000” with his guitar. We came to know of a Jewish musical piece and sang along as the audience. We enjoyed all the stages thoroughly and applauded them. In the end the attendees received flowers as a thank you for their hard work in the past 4 months. After the event we enjoyed specialities and sipped coffee, a few students continued to dance and that marked the end of the long-awaited event.
